"Man is an animal," boomed the voice of the teacher, "only difference is that he more intelligent than others."
The school bell rang. Joe was thankful the class was over. All this talk of man being an animal was scary. He longed to be home with his elder sister, mom and dad.
It had been drizzling continuously since the last three days. It was a dark, gloomy day and Joe hated that. He dozed off as the school bus trundled off.
"Hey wake up, ass-hole," the voice of the school bully Jim woke Joe up. He looked up at Jim and nearly fell off the bus seat.
The voice was Jim's. The body was Jim's. But the head on the body was of a hyena! Joe said nothing and kept looking at the thing. The hyena snarled and slapped Joe once and went off. Joe said nothing. He had never protested before too. He was too soft. His sister and dad always said so.
Joe took a deep breath and looked at the school bus driver. He had a pig's head. The pig snorted and kept driving.
Joe quickly got off the bus and started running towards his home. He longed to tell his mom, dad and sister about what he had seen.
he rang the bell. The door open and he saw his jeans-clad slim-figured sister at the door. Only she had the head of a beautiful horse.
The horse neighed and said, "what's the matter? You look scared."
"Nothing," Joe managed to mumble and rushed towards the kitchen. As he passed the living-room he saw his father sitting and watching the football match on the telly.
"You home?," growled his father. He had a lion's head.
Joe urinated in his pants as he rushed to his mother in the kitchen.
"Hello dear. Want something to eat," said his sweet mother. Or rather baaed. She had a sheep's head.
Joe ran to his room and started washing his face. It felt hot.
The warm water felt good. He sighed in relief and looked into the mirror. A rabbit stared back at him.
